This is another from the Foundation, which I have had for several years (Oda. Fremar X Odm. Jerispol).
Deep colour of the flower seems spoiled by the almost sandpaper-like surfaces. Nevertheless, the deep colours always brighten up the Spring glasshouse. Looks like I shall have a good array this year judging by the spikes in progress.

As you say a beautiful colour Richard and from the pic you don't get the 'sandpaper effect'.

Very nice - a classic red Odontioda, as good as it can be. And these gems are getting rarer by the minute, as almost no-one wants to invest the effort anymore that is required to successfully grow and flower these wonderful cool-climate orchids. Well done Richard !
